Ukraine said on Tuesday it shot down six of 21 missiles fired overnight and early in the morning by Russia, reporting minor damage in the capital Kiev and attacks on infrastructure in the northern region of Sumy.
A woman was injured in the Kiev region where a private residence was damaged, the Interior Ministry said on Telegram.
Missile debris damaged three private buildings and two cars in one of the capital’s districts, Kiev’s military administration said on Telegram.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia’s Kinzhal hypersonic missile was among six that were shot down.
Russia fired a total of 13 missiles at the town of Shostka in the northern Sumy region, the local governor said in televised comments.
The attack damaged 12 high-rise residential buildings, two educational facilities, three boiler houses and a clinic, according to local authorities. Some infrastructure was destroyed, he added.

Moscow forces also used 40 drones to attack the country. Air defense units shot down 16 of them and another 24 failed to reach their targets, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
