The government () released this Monday (30) the official dates of the 2025 holidays and the optional days for public service.
In 2025 there will be two long holidays, with the Passion of Christ (April 18) and Tiradentes (April 21) celebrated on a Friday and a Monday, respectively. The second period in which it will be possible to amend will be June 19th and 20th, with the Corpus Christi holiday on Thursday and an optional period on Friday.
However, three holidays will fall on Sundays: Brazilian Independence (September 7), Nossa Senhora Aparecida (October 12) and All Souls’ Day (November 2). One will fall on a Saturday: November 15th (Proclamation of the Republic).

- December 24th, Christmas Eve (optional point after 1pm);
- December 25th, Christmas (national holiday);
- December 31st, Eve of (optional point after 1pm).
