A 48-year-old driver died on Tuesday evening in Bratislava’s Golden Sands after a traffic accident. The police are investigating the accident. Bratislava regional police spokeswoman Silvia Šimková informed TASR about this. “At 6:51 p.m., we received a report on line 158 about a traffic accident on Zlaté Piesky at the level of the shopping center,” said the spokeswoman.
For unknown reasons, according to her the man drove the motor vehicle through the center island, continued across the grassy area between the streets Road to Senec and Stará Vajnorská. Subsequently remained standing with the vehicle on the tram track. “Even after the efforts of the rescuers, the driver could not be revived,” she added.
