The accident happened in the rural area of ​​the city of São José de Princesa. The police were called, but the man was already dead when officers arrived at the scene of the accident, according to police chief Adriano Pinto, who responded to the case.

“The body was sent to the Forensic Medicine and Dentistry Center, where it will undergo an autopsy, and an examination was also carried out to try to find out what was the reason for the fall that led to the victim’s death”, he reports.

The autopsy and forensic report must be completed within the next 10 days. “After this, we will continue the investigations and collect other statements from witnesses who witnessed the victim’s fall”, added the delegate.
