Federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) says that Bolsonaro supporters have no reason to remember their second anniversary and suggests that the date to be set is the following day.
“The 8th is a bad memory for us. The 9th is a good day to do something. National Political Prisoner Day”, she says.
The deputy’s reference is to a project that is being processed in the Chamber of Deputies with the support of Bolsonaro supporters to honor those arrested in the attacks on Praça dos Três Poderes.
Supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro are not planning any act or demonstration in reference to the two years since the attacks. In WhatsApp groups, some have advocated staying at home on that date.
