After DOGE, Kekius Maximus: Musk messes with the crypto market and the currency increases 1600%

X owner changed the name of his own account on the platform. Amidst doubts about the meaning of “kek”, a memecoin thanks you.

Elon Musk can you really influence many market factors, including in the cryptocurrencies.

This time it is about a memecoin, which, as the name suggests, is a cryptocurrency whose name was inspired by internet memes.

Many of them are more focused on entertainment, to strengthen communities – but they are also (even more) volatile, more risky, because their value can drop a lot or rise a lot in a very short period.

This is what happened with memecoin Kekius Maximus in the last hours of 2024. The responsibility lies with Elon Musk.

The owner of X changed o name from his own account on the platform: he became “Kekius Maximus”.

Kekius Maximus is exactly the name of a memecoin – which rose 1600% on Tuesday night.

In that period, according to CoinGecko figures, digital currency began to be traded at around 19 cents.

There are no indications about Musk’s alleged involvement in this cryptocurrency.

And there are doubts about the origin of “kek”: it could be a synonym for “laugh out loud”, it could be something associated with the extreme right, it could be a reference to the name of the ancient Egyptian god of darkness.

Less than two months ago, it became known that Elon Musk would be responsible for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). And Elon Musk promotes a cryptocurrency called… – which in the days following the US presidential elections rose 150%.
