Responsible for shaking up the first days of the football year until the start of the state championships, the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior 2025, popular Copinha, starts this Thursday (2).
The opening day will have six matches from three groups, featuring clubs that will compete in Série A of the Brasileirão in 2025. They are: Botafogo, Cruzeiro and Mirassol.
The tournament, whose biggest and current champion is Corinthians, features 128 teams from all states in Brazil and the Federal District, divided into 32 groups — .
The grand final takes place on January 25th, the anniversary of the city of São Paulo.
