Cybertruck explodes in front of the Trump Hotel
The vehicle exploded in front of the building in Las Vegas. He killed one person and injured seven. It may be linked to the attack in New Orleans.
One vehicle exploded this Wednesday in front of the hotel Trump from Las Vegas, doing a dead and seven minor injuries, according to local police.
The vehicle in question is a Cybertruck, a pick-up of Tesla – hours after in the USA, also with a pick-upbut in New Orleans.
“There is one person dead inside the Cybertruck”, declared Kevin McMahill, sheriff of the Las Vegas police, at a press conference, also mentioning seven “slight injuries” as a result of what he described as a “big explosion”.
In the early afternoon (local time) maneuvers were underway to extricate the corpse.
The alert to the authorities was given at 8:40 am (4:40 pm in Lisbon).

The images broadcast on North American television show a gray Tesla Cybertruck, parked near the entrance to the 64-story hotel, enveloped in a cloud of smoke.
An investigation source said that there was “a mortar load, like fireworks.”
According to the television channel, authorities are evaluating the incident as a possible terrorist act.
Las Vegas police are investigate whether there is a link to the terrorist attack in New Orleansalthough I have not yet found evidence linking the two attacks.
The explosion occurred hours after an attack in New Orleans, in which an alleged former US military officer, identified by the FBI as Shamsud Din Jabbar, aged 42, rammed his car into a crowd celebrating the New Year in historic French Quarter, leaving at least 10 dead and 30 injured.

Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, wrote on his social network, X, that teams from the company are investigating what happened.
“We’ve never seen anything like this”, stated Musk.
