Former Flamengo, Cuéllar has a proposal to return to Brazil, says newspaper

Al-Shabab received an offer from a Brazilian team for Gustavo Cuéllar and is trying to convince the Colombian to accept his departure. The information is from the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat.

The newspaper did not say which Brazilian club is keeping an eye on Cuéllar. The Arab team is looking for alternatives for negotiations and, if they do not find a good option, they can postpone the sale until the middle of the year.

Cuéllar, 32 years old, spent three years at Flamengo, between 2016 and 2019, and then moved to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Hilal.

His good run for the red and black meant that the Colombian’s name was constantly on the radar of several Brazilian teams in recent windows.
