After flirting with relegation in the Brazilian Championship, Fluminense is in the market to have a much better 2025 than 2024. Some reinforcements have already been hired, but Tricolor remains in the market.
The target this time is midfielder Lucas Crispim, formerly of Fortaleza and now at Buriram United, in Thailand. THE Sporting News provides more details.

Will Lucas Crispim play for Fluminense?
According to ‘ge’, Fluminense made the first contacts with Lucas Crispim’s staff to find out the 30-year-old player’s situation. The Brazilian has a contract with Buriram United until December 2025, so in June he can already sign a pre-contract with another team.
Former Fortaleza, Crispim left Leão do Pici in this way to play in Thai football. For now, negotiations are at an early stage.

Who is Lucas Crispim?
The midfielder formed a base at Santos, but did not play for Peixe’s professional team at first. Afterwards, he spent time at Vasco, Joinville, Atlético-GO and Ituano, until returning to Santos and staying for two seasons.
Crispim also played for São Bento, Guarani and Fortaleza, where he stood out, being a three-time Ceará champion, champion of the Copa do Nordeste and Série B of the Brasileirão. He arrived at Buriram United last season.
