Shiffrin nurtures hope for an early comeback

Vienna – Ski star Mikaela Shiffrin is nurturing hopes of a comeback this winter and perhaps at the World Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The American announced on Instagram that she was making progress and posted a video showing her doing exercises in the fitness room. She still has a ways to go before she’s ready to ski with intensity again, Shiffrin explained. She hopes to be able to do a few easy turns on snow next week.
