Since December 2, Benoît has been the new Maestro in Don’t forget the lyrics. This young photographer specializing in portraits continues his impressive rise, as evidenced by the last two issues of the game hosted by Nagui, broadcast on Thursday January 2. Indeed, on the occasion of his entire month of participation, the young man who had already fought for the precious silver microphone on the Nagui plateau a few years ago took the opportunity to make some confessions about his preparation to the famous game broadcast on France 2. “It’s work, it’s revisions. Almost two years with a lot of work”, first of all clarified the one who had to endure facing the candidate who insisted on rectifying: “A little over two years now.”
Accompanied by his mother, the man who has become the eighth best maestro in the history of the game and now has a prize pool of 370,000 euros has always been able to count on the support of the one who gave birth to him. “Mom endured the beginning of the revisions by having a room next to mine because I lived with her at the beginning and I sang all night.” he said about the last two years. Indeed, Jadine could only confirm her son’s words: “He’s been singing since he was little, he loves it. I did a bit of Cruella in the kitchen though.” But it’s not the only one. Virginie, the player’s roommate, also present on the set, was at the heart of a discussion between the host and Benoît: “Virginie accompanies your mother. Is she important in your revisions or just a good friend? And for the professional photographer to answer: “Virginie who lives with me, no. We can say no. From time to time it has happened that she does Cruella but it’s quite rare honestly compared to other people.”
Benoît made his dream come true… but not thanks to the show
Benoît is not yet on France 2. For good reason, he had already tried his luck, but his adventure unfortunately ended prematurely. However, this failure did not prevent him from realizing a major project that was close to his heart: the creation of an eco-friendly place with his friends. “There are five of us, we all live together, we each have our own room and the project is really to have a place where we can welcome people, do culture, but we also have an agricultural project behind it, a sheep , chickens, a vegetable garden…”he confided when he returned to the set. Currently, Benoît mainly needs funding to undertake work on his farm located in the countryside, near Angers. In particular, he wants to invest in a more ecological heating system in order to replace fuel oil.
