The crash took place at the intersection of Via Expressa and Rua Marcelino Nogueira, close to the Boa Vista terminal. The driver of the SUV was alone in the vehicle and had a huge scare after the vehicle rolled over. The 46-year-old man reported that he was in priority, but that the Celta driver ran the signal.

Despite the scare and damage to the vehicle, the driver of the SUV was not injured. “His vehicle collided, however, the victim was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. If it weren’t for the belt, he would have suffered many injuries”, commented rescuer Rafael Machado, from the Fire Department.
