Caixa Econômica will start paying Extraordinary Aid to Fishermen in Municipalities in the Northern Region this Monday (6). In the amount of R$ 2,824, the transfer will be made in a single installment through credit to the benefit holder’s account, including the Digital Social Savings account, opened automatically.

The resources are directed to fishermen affected by drought in the region and are expected to be paid in stages by CPF, as follows:

Beneficiaries will be able to check balances and make transactions through the Caixa Tem app and on . The app allows you to pay bills, make transfers, pay at the machine and make purchases with a virtual debit card.

The extraordinary credit was authorized by the government through a provisional measure published at the end of November last year after the federal recognition of the emergency situation in the northern region.
The amounts are aimed at fishermen who receive Artisanal Fisherman’s Unemployment Insurance and live in northern municipalities.

Also eligible to receive the aid are fisherman who had the Defense Insurance benefit granted until November 29, 2024 and who did not benefit from the extra payment in October – normally paid every year due to drought during this period. of the year.

The municipalities in the Northern Region in a calamity situation covered by the aforementioned Provisional Measure are the following:

STATE OF AMAZONAS: Autazes, Codajás, Boa Vista do Ramos, Boca do Acre, Novo Airão, São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Nhamundá, Itapiranga, Nova Olinda Do Norte, São Sebastião do Uatumã and Barreirinha.
