ÖVP and SPÖ now want to try it together: Negotiations about a three-party coalition between ÖVP, SPÖ and NEOS collapsed because the Pinks threw in the towel on Friday. It ultimately took until the evening until it became clear that the People’s Party and the Social Democrats wanted to continue the talks. In the National Council, of course, they only have a wafer-thin majority with a surplus of one mandate.
