Who is Juninho, Flamengo’s target?
Juninho is 28 years old and started his career at Athletico’s youth team, where he stayed until the under-20s. From there, he was loaned to Portimonense, in Portugal, but without many chances. He also had spells at clubs such as GE Brasil, Novorizontino, Figueirense and Vila Nova.
In 2019, he left Athletico to play for Estoril Praia, in Portugal. He stood out and played for Chaves, another Portuguese club, until being hired by Qarabag, in 2023, where he won the Azerbaijan League last season.
Flamengo made a proposal of 5 million euros for Juninho from Qarabaq, from Azerbaijan.
The player is 28 years old and had a good 23/24 season with 31 goals in 55 matches. In the current season he has 11 goals in 25 matches.

What are Juninho’s characteristics?
According to Sofascore, Juninho is more of an area player, the typical number nine, but in some games he also tends to leave the reference and fall a little to the left side of the attack. At 1.78m, the player doesn’t usually score goals with his head.

Juninho, 31 years old, plays for Qarabag, an Azerbaijani club. In addition to the Rio team, Sevilla, from Spain, would be keeping an eye on the Brazilian.
