At the end of last December, in an interview for “TV Mag”, Karine Le Marchand made an unexpected revelation. The host has not always gotten along very well with one of her colleagues, who is just as popular as her. One situation even caused tears…
Karine Le Marchand has already “made a famous presenter cry”: “she was very touchy…”
At the end of 2024, our colleagues at TV Mag collected the points of view of the French around TV personalities. And a trio really stood out. Indeed, we count among the big favorites, as well as.
This is the first time in almost thirty years of career that the figure of Love is in the meadow obtains this place in the ranking and she is very proud of it. “I am very happy to continue to progress in the hearts of the French“, she declared in an interview for our colleagues. Narrowly surpassed by Faustine Bollaert, Karine Le Marchand also had the opportunity to speak about her comrade from the small screen with whom everything has not always been pink.
Indeed, the most famous matchmaker on M6 notably remembered a somewhat unfortunate episode that occurred with Faustine Bollaert in the summer of 2000during their first meeting. “I presented a show called It will look male where Faustine was a columnist. At the time, she wasn’t shy because she already had character but she wasn’t sure of herself. She was very touchy. And I remember that I made him cry!“, she reported.
“A little valve” that goes wrong
And to explain in more detail: “I made a little joke that wasn’t mean in my eyes, but it upset her. The guest was Gérard Darmon, she arrived with a sequined dress and told him that she had dressed up as a candy for him. I made fun of her dress. She hadn’t said anything but, at the end of the show, she had gone to cry and I had apologized“.
Fortunately, water has flowed under the bridges since then and today, Karine Le Marchand and Faustine Bollaert are great friends. “We have seen each other several times at M6, we live in the same neighborhood and we send each other messages regularly. I really like Faustine“.
