This Friday, speaking to journalists, the executive director of the SNS, António Gandra D’Almeida, said that the new rules on the assignment of family doctors must be complied with.
“It was legislated and the new rules are to comply with (…) the law must be complied with”, he stressed.
The order comes into force on April 1st. He notes that the allocation of family doctors to waiting users with the current capacity of the public sector constitutes one of the urgent measures of the Health Emergency Plan.
