A versatile type of meat

Another plus of chicken breasts is their abundance of modifications. It practically doesn’t matter if you buy them fresh or frozen, they almost never disappoint. “Chicken breast is suitable for frying, grilling or as an ingredient in salads, soups or one-pot meals,” explains the expert, adding that this particular meat is also ideal for various Chinese, Indian or Mexican dishes. All you have to do is cut it into pieces, dip it in the marinade (which soaks it up perfectly) and put it in the pan. If you have chicken breasts in the fridge and don’t know what to do with them, here is a tip for a quick lunch or dinner.

Quick preparation

Cut the chicken breast lengthwise into two large slices. Salt the meat thoroughly and rub it with the marinade you made from 2 teaspoons of oil, a pinch of pepper, 1 teaspoon of dried garlic and 1 teaspoon of dried paprika. Let the chicken breasts rest for a while. Meanwhile, peel two larger onions and cut them into thin rounds.

A surprise in the package

Prepare two pieces of baking paper. Partially cover each of them with onions, place the chicken breast with the marinade on it and cover it again with onion rings. Wrap the specialty tightly in baking paper so that the contents do not fall out. Place both “packages” in a larger, deep pan and close the lid. Let the mixture simmer on the stove for 15 minutes. Then turn the content over to the other side and let it go through the heat treatment again for 10 minutes.
