AcreCap spoke out about the accusations related to possible fraud in its competitions. The suspicion arose after a video went viral on social media stating that the coupons would be discarded and that they did not actually compete for the prize.

During the video, the spokesperson explained that at the point where the coupons were sold, payment was not being made via credit card, only debit, cash and PIX. As a result, many customers would have given up on completing the purchase, discarding their completed but not validated coupons.

“The coupons that appear in this video are not sealed, this means that these coupons have not been validated or registered in our system. What happened? On this day, in question, the Trimania region was not accepting credit cards, only PIX, debit cards and cash. Some customers arrived at the counter, filled out the title and when they went to make the payment, they received the news that they only accepted PIX, cash or debit. And then many of these customers discarded it right there” said the video.

The coupons for edition 232, draw on 01/01/2025, which appear in photos and videos shared on social networks, were filled in, but were not paid for and authenticated with the seal.

Anyone over 16 can choose, take and fill out the form. However, they are only valid when sealed upon payment.
