The husband of the famous actress Aubrey Plaza died at the age of 47, probably committed suicide.
American director and screenwriter Jeff Beena, who was also known for his marriage to the famous actress Aubrey Plaza, died in the city of Los Angeles, California, USA, on Friday at the age of 47. The website reported on the death, saying that according to law enforcement authorities, it was a suicide.
A native of Miami, Florida, he got a taste of the film industry as an assistant to directors Robert Zemeckis and David O. Russell. In 2004, he debuted with the film I Like Huckabees with Dustin Hoffman and Lily Tomlin, which was a commercial failure.
His other films include the black comedy Perverted Nuns from 2017 and the mysterious drama Horse Girl, in which actress Alison Brie played the lead role.
Beena married Aubrey Plaza on their 10th anniversary in 2021.
