Armed Forces offer 1,465 vacancies in 28 cities for women who turn 18 in 2025

With just 2 days of open registration, female voluntary enlistment in the Armed Forces registered 6,613 women enlisted.

The enlistment period began on Wednesday (January 1, 2025) and continues until June 30. Previously, enlistment was restricted to men aged 18 and over.

In 2025, 1,465 female vacancies were made available, distributed among the Army (1,010 vacancies), Air Force (300 vacancies) and Navy (155 vacancies). The expectation is that the number of vacancies for women will increase progressively until it reaches 20% of the total available.

In a statement, the Army stated that the number of registrations reflects women’s interest in contributing to the country’s defense. “This significant volume in the first 2 days demonstrates the growing interest of women in joining the ranks of the Armed Forces”he declared.

According to the Armed Forces, female enlistment sites have women on military installations and structures, such as accommodation, to receive new candidates.
