Two indigenous children, aged seven and 14, were discharged from hospital this Saturday afternoon (4) after being shot on Friday night (3), in Guaíra, in western Paraná.

In total, four indigenous people were injured and two young people, aged 25 and 28, remain hospitalized after being seriously injured, according to information from RICtv Oeste.

Indigenous people shot in Guaíra

Four indigenous people were injured after being shot on Friday night (3), in Guaíra, in western Paraná. The region has been a site of conflicts over land disputes between indigenous people and rural producers.

According to the Federal Police (PF), in the direction of the indigenous community at around 9 pm, in the Eletrosul neighborhood.

Both the Civil and Federal Police reported that an investigation was opened to determine who was responsible for the shooting.
