A man burned to death on Friday night (3) after a fire in a kiosk in Paranaguá, on the coast of Paraná. A man was arrested on suspicion of causing the fire that killed Elói Ricardo Cardoso.

The Fire Department was called to the scene by the Military Police, who were patrolling the region and noticed that the kiosk was on fire. Firefighters found Elói’s body inside the establishment in the center of the municipality.
The man identified as suspected of causing the fire by witnesses was arrested and taken to the Civil Police station, which will investigate the motivation for the flames.

Elói Ricardo was from a well-known family in Paranaguá. He is the son of a barber and the brother of a teacher, who on social media mourned the loss of his brother with a farewell message.
“I fight for my brother. I love you forever, you will be greatly missed by me. May God comfort our soul. My heart is in pieces, I have no words for what they did to him. Go in peace my brother”, he wrote.
The body of the man charred in a kiosk was collected by the Legal Medical Institute (IML).
