The national president of , Marconi Perillo, says he intends to forward the complaints involving party councilor Júnior Figueiredo, who took office this Wednesday (1st) in the city of Nazaré (BA), to the party’s Ethics Council.
He is one of those investigating bid fraud. According to the Federal Police, he was one of the operators of the criminal organization accused of rigging tenders and embezzling R$1.4 billion in public resources.
“I have already requested information from the party in Bahia and I am awaiting the development of the case in court. After that, I will take it to the party’s Ethics Council for exemplary statutory measures”, stated Perillo.
Nazaré was arrested last month, but managed to reverse the measure and was released at the end of the year, in time to take office in the city of Bahia. At the event, he received boos from the audience present.
