Directed by Patricia Riggen, the film follows US President Danielle Sutton (Davis), who becomes target number one after the US summit is surrounded. After escaping capture from her attackers, she must outsmart the enemy to protect her family, defend her country and save world leaders.
“This is Viola Davis as you’ve never seen her – heroically fighting in a film full of emotion,” said Riggen. “With G20, I wanted to make the kind of classic action film that I’ve always been a fan of, but which is based on the high stakes of the modern, technologically advanced world we live in. I hope to provide audiences with a captivating experience from start to finish.” The film opens on April 10th.
