Forensics indicated that Garro was not under the influence of alcohol above the legal limit. The breathalyzer test indicated 0.54g of alcohol per liter of blood, below the minimum of 1g to consider the aggravating factor under Argentine law. Thus, the player will await trial in freedom, with no restrictions on leaving the country.
The accident involved Garro’s RAM truck and Chiaraviglio’s motorcycle. After the accident, Garro was taken to give a statement and was later released. He has the support of a lawyer and Corinthians, which has offered support with the legal team and striker Ángel Romero, a Paraguayan who is close to Garro.
According to the portal, prosecutor Francisco Cuenca confirmed that Chiaraviglio was not wearing a helmet.
