The 2025 Golden Globes will be broadcast in Brazil on the TNT channel and Max streaming, starting at 10pm.
The film about the story of Eunice Paiva, directed by Walter Salles, competes in the category of Best Film in a Non-English Language. The protagonist of the production, Fernanda Torres is in contention for the Best Actress statuette.
Fernanda Montenegro’s daughter, who was nominated in the same category in 1999, was named favorite by Variety magazine. Despite the positive signal given by the North American press, the team has avoided the feeling of “already won”.
Fernanda Torres competes for the statuette with big names in world entertainment, such as Angelina Jolie (Maria Callas), Kate Winslet (Lee), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Tilda Swinton (The Room Next Door) and Pamela Anderson (The Last Showgirl).
I’m Still Here, so far, has not been named as a favorite in the Best Film in a Non-English Language category. The film doesn’t appear as an underdog either.
In recent days, the Indian film Everything We Imagine as Light, directed by Payal Kapadia, has grown on the betting markets. Another highly rated “rival” is Emilia Perez, by filmmaker Jacques Audiard.
