Pedro dos Santos, 45 years old, was the victim of physical aggression in the early hours of this Saturday (4), near the São João Batista Cemetery, on Rua Rio de Janeiro, in the Preventório neighborhood, in Rio Branco.

According to information from the victim himself, he was walking on a public street when he was approached by around eight people, who arrived on three motorcycles and a silver Gol model vehicle. The group began attacking him on charges of stealing wires in the region.
Pedro received several blows to his body from a lath, suffered a fracture in his left arm and suffered several bruises. After the attacks, the suspects fled the scene, leaving the victim lying on the street.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called and sent a basic ambulance to the scene. The paramedics provided first aid and took Pedro to the emergency room in Rio Branco. His health condition was considered stable.
Neither the Military Police nor the Civil Police were called to record the incident.
