Part of an old building in the center of Porto Velho collapsed this Sunday morning (5), on Avenida Presidente Dutra, corner of 7 de Setembro, in the city’s commercial center.

According to reports, a man barely managed to escape being crushed. The place is used by street vendors on weekends.

A taxi driver who was nearby said he heard a loud crack (noise) and then part of the building collapsed.
