On Saturday afternoon (4), the Criminal Police carried out two drug seizures in the Penal Establishment Division of Cruzeiro do Sul. During visiting hours, two women were caught trying to enter the unit with drugs.

The visitors were subjected to search procedures when prison officers identified the illicit material. Both were arrested at the scene and the drugs were seized.
The women and the material were sent to the Cruzeiro do Sul Civil Police Station, where legal proceedings were registered and the investigation began to determine the circumstances of the crime.
