During the second half of Sunday, frost will form throughout Slovakia. From the afternoon, its occurrence will be threatened first in the southwest, gradually in other regions and regions of Slovakia. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) informs about it.
Meteorologists published on their website frost warning from 2 p.m. until Monday (January 6) at noon. The SHMÚ also issued a warning against the formation of snow tongues and drifts in northern, northwestern and central Slovakia, valid from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In the mountains of northern and central Slovakia meteorologists also expect the occurrence of wind in the evening and night hours, which can reach a speed of 110 – 135 km/h in impacts. They issued a warning against strong wind in the mountains valid from 20.00 to 04.00 hv Monday.
