A man was arrested last Friday (3) during an integrated operation carried out in Campo Limpo Paulista, in the Jundiaí region, São Paulo.
He is appointed as leader of a criminal faction responsible for drug trafficking in the interior of Ceará.
The action was supported by the Command and Special Operations (COE) of the São Paulo PM, the Intelligence Service and the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime of Ceará and São Paulo.
The teams seized more than a ton of drugs, including marijuana and cocaine base paste.
According to authorities, the suspect is also responsible for murder, robbery, receiving, criminal association, as well as possession and illegal carrying of a firearm.
The arrest took place after an approach to a vehicle in Campo Limpo Paulista.
During the check, the police identified that the man had an open arrest warrant. He and his girlfriend, who was in the car, were taken to the police station.
With the couple’s address provided at the police station, the teams located a property in Jarinu, where the drugs were found.
The drug was tested, and both remain detained at the Campo Limpo Paulista Police Station. The case was registered as drug trafficking and execution of an arrest warrant.
