An elephant killed a tourist while she was bathing the animal at a sanctuary in Thailand. The 23-year-old woman was killed when she was struck by the animal at the Koh Yao Elephant Care Center. The information was confirmed by the local police this Monday (6).
Thai authorities contacted the Spanish embassy to confirm the victim’s identity. According to witnesses, she was hit by the elephant while she was there to bathe the animal. She received medical care, but did not survive the injury. The information is from the Isto É portal.
