It is considered one of the most ambitious newcomers in the airline business: Riyadh Air. Founded in 2022, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s second major airline wants to start flight operations this year. Riyadh Air is expected to play a central role in realizing the Saudi Vision 2030, which, among other things, envisages new economic sectors in order to become more independent of the wealth-generating oil sector.
