Demi Moore62, moved the audience with his speech at the Golden Globes 2025. To protagonist of “The Substance” won the award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Film this Sunday (5).
During her speech, the actress recalled being labeled as a ““, but highlighted that this never stopped her from pursuing her career. She also mentioned that the award she won for her work on The Substance was “the first of his professional career“. “And at 62 years old, it’s really impressive,” he concluded.
In the plot of “The Substance”, an actress who was successful years ago is fired from the fitness program she ran on television. From this, she is invited to participate in a medical treatment that promises a new, young version of herself based on a process of cellular replication — as a result, the two versions must coexist.
The production stars (“” and “Questão de Honra”), Margaret Qualley (“Once Upon a Time in…. Hollywood” and “The Maid”) and Dennis Quaid (“” and “The Day After Tomorrow”). The direction is by the French filmmaker Coralie Fargeat.
