Brianne was cared for by her husband, Rick, as she had difficulty moving around and was unable to carry out simple daily tasks and spent most of her day on the couch.

In a 2021 episode of “Deadly Kilos: How Are They Now?”, the story was picked up again and they revealed that she didn’t have the surgery because she got pregnant right after she lost weight — however, she lost the baby.
When she reached 133 kilos, she finally managed to undergo the operation carried out by the program’s doctor — which had complications, but Brianne managed to recover.
However, her personal life did not follow the success of her weight loss. Her caretaker husband, Rick, was cheating on her and the discovery of the affair led to the two divorcing.
In April 2021, Brianne used her social media to show the separation document, commenting that it was the worst day of her life. “How can you go from being happy and in love to telling someone that you are the love of their life? The person hates you and wishes they had never met you”, he wrote in the caption of the publication.
A few months later, in June 2021, she got engaged to Christopher Riley. “This incredible man took me fishing for the first time and knelt down when I came out of the water. He said he didn’t want to lose me, that he wanted to start over with me. […] Before he even finished, I said yes!”, he narrated in a publication.
They got married a few months later and, in January 2022, he and Brianne had a son, River, who is now three years old.
On her social networks, she shares several records of her family — including a photo of her baby with Dr. Now, who remains close to his former patient.
