According to the balance released on Friday (January 3, 2025), since 2023, 6,500 weapons, 20,800 ballistic vests, 1,607 vehicles, 12,000 body cameras and a model H135 helicopter, known as Águia 33, were purchased, which cost R$52.9 million.
According to the government, the helicopter is the first of its kind with aeromedical equipment. Since its acquisition in July 2023, the aircraft has been used in rescue operations and fighting forest fires in partnership with .
In the last two years, the (Republican) administration has already used R$ 104.4 million in public resources to carry out works in 37 Civil Police units, and R$ 26.9 million for the construction or renovation of 20 battalions and barracks of the Military Police. In addition, it used R$24.6 million in 4 units. 10 renovations or maintenance were also carried out at the Fire Department facilities.
These investments, according to the state administration, are part of a strategy to modernize the security forces and increase the response capacity of teams in the State.
