Each Spaniard will spend an average of 18.20 euros to buy tickets for the Extraordinary Draw of the El Niño Lottery 2025, which is 0.23 euros more than the previous year, according to the allocation figure per inhabitant of Loterías y Apuestas del State (LAE), collected by Europa Press. In 2024, the allocation per inhabitant was set at 17.97 euros.
By region, the autonomous community that is expected to spend the most per inhabitant this year is Asturias, with an average of 30.20 euros, followed by Castilla y León (28.89 euros), La Rioja (26.01 euros), Comunidad Valencian (25.17 euros), Basque Country (23.22 euros), Aragon (22.82 euros), Cantabria (22.31 euros), Castilla-La Mancha (20.68 euros), Murcia (20.26 euros) and Galicia (19.37 euros). Meanwhile, those who are going to spend the least this year are once again the inhabitants of the autonomous cities of Ceuta (3.53 euros) and Melilla (5.32), followed by those of the Balearic Islands (9.59 euros), Catalonia (13.02 euros), Navarra (13.23 euros) Canary Islands (13.38 euros), Extremadura (14.11 euros), Andalusia (14.77 euros) and Madrid (17.31 euros).
