Inter midfielder Thiago Maia could play for Santos in 2025. The player left Vila Belmiro in 2017, and his return to the club that revealed him could represent more protagonism, after ending the season without being an absolute starter at the club from Rio Grande do Sul.
According to the “Trivela” portal, Inter and Santos have advanced negotiations, but the completion of the transfer depends on a conversation with coach Roger Machado.
The Colorado coach wants to count on the player and will understand Thiago Maia’s ambitions for this season. The definition should take place this Monday (06/01).

From starting with Coudet to being a reserve with Roger Machado, Thiago Maia had a fluctuating season at Inter.
The midfielder arrived at the club at the beginning of 2024, on loan from Flamengo with an option to purchase. During the year, he played 32 games, two goals and four assists.
In July, Inter acquired Thiago Maia permanently, with a contract until December 2026. Colorado asks 7 million euros (R$44.8 million) to sell it to Santos.
