A tragedy ended with two people dead on Sunday night (5), in Guaíra, in the west of Paraná. A young woman was stabbed to death and her ex-boyfriend died after being shot by the victim’s brother during the crime.

According to RICtv Oeste, Amanda Gazola was with her family at a residence, when her ex-boyfriend allegedly invaded the place and stabbed her several times. Family members tried to break up the fight when they heard gunshots. The suspect fell to the ground and ended up dying.
Amanda was taken to an Emergency Care Unit (UPA) by her current boyfriend, but she did not survive the stab wounds.
After that, the Civil Police went to the house where the young woman was killed by her ex-boyfriend. At the scene, police found the knife used by the suspect and also a pistol, which allegedly belonged to Amanda’s current boyfriend.
According to delegate Renata Oliveira Pereira, the brother was taken to the police station and was released by the delegate on duty, who understood that there was self-defense.
“Amanda was accompanied by her boyfriend, who tried to pull the suspect off the victim. However, he was also threatened by the young woman’s ex-boyfriend. He also threatened other people, like Amanda’s mother. When the suspect approached the victim’s brother, he fired two firearms at the attacker,” explained the delegate.
