The search for energy efficiency and cleaner technologies has led vehicle manufacturers to prioritize hybrid and electric models, to the detriment of versions with combustion engines, especially those powered by diesel. Furthermore, the popularity of SUVs has impacted sales in other segments, such as hatches and sedans.

It is in light of this situation that the Brazilian and global market is preparing to say goodbye to some models that will have their production discontinued. For anyone who owns one of these cars, it may be the right time to sell it and purchase a more modern version of the vehicle. But not everyone on this list will receive updates – check.

8 cars that will be discontinued in 2025:

  • Jeep Compass Diesel: Due to the search for greater energy efficiency, Stellantis decided to focus on hybrid systems, which led to the discontinuation of the diesel version of the Compass.
