The President of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSDB-MG)will embezzle the acts prepared by the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to remember two years since the attacks on the headquarters of the Three Powers on January 8, 2023.
The senator said, in a note distributed to the press, that the reason was a trip abroad.
“Due to a previously scheduled trip abroad, the president of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco, will not be able to participate in the events scheduled for next Wednesday, in Brasília, in memory of the two years since January 8th. Senator Veneziano Vital do Rêgo (MDB-PB), first vice-president of the House, will represent the Senate at the ceremonies”, stated the president of the Senate.
Lula will hold a series of events on the topic on Wednesday morning (8). – they underwent restoration.
There will also be speeches by politicians and a symbolic “hug” in Praça dos Três Poderes.
