According to data from the Official System for Extracting Statistics on Brazilian Foreign Trade in Goods, Brazil nut exports totaled more than US$9 million between the months of January to November 2024 in Acre.
The value is equivalent to R$55.4 million, according to the conversion by the Central Bank of Brazil. The platform also highlights that the states of the North region, Amazonas, Pará and Rondônia are also on the list of exporters of the product
In Acre, the value of Brazil nut exports totaled US$ 9,688,297 in the 11 months of 2024. The total described on the platform in US$ FOB – abbreviation for free on board, in dollars, does not take taking into account the insurance and shipping costs involved, which are borne by the buyer.
The month with the highest revenue in the state of Acre occurred in July, with more than US$ 1.2 million, US$ 727,063 in nuts with the shell and US$ 475,010 in nuts without the shell. June also had good results with more than US$ 1 million, as well as in February, with US$ 918,484 thousand.
The total kilograms amount to more than 4.5 thousand tons of chestnuts exported, with and without shells. February was the period with the most exports by weight, with more than 660 tons, and April had 588,910 kg.
According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Acre remains among the largest producers in the country, according to data from the Plant Extraction and Forestry Survey (PEVS).
