The Neos are attacking the SPÖ with heavy artillery. On Monday, Neos boss Beate Meinl-Reisinger commented in detail on Bluesky. She rejected the “almost grotesque accusations” made by the SPÖ and its chairman Andreas Babler and accused him of a “path of insincerity and lies.” The Neos were indeed prepared to compromise, but were confronted with “preservation of vested interests, clientelism or retro-socialism”.
