The evangelical pastor Emilson Leandro da Silva, aged 47, was arrested, and his son, under 17, arrested, accused of physical aggression against fellow pastor Evanildo Leandro da Silva, aged 54, and Rosyane Cristiana dos Santos, aged 48. years old, and Érica Cristina Santos Silva, 33 years old. The case happened on Sunday night (6), on Rua Ayrton Senna, in the Ayrton Senna neighborhood, Baixada da Sobral region, in Rio Branco.
According to information from family members of those involved, the feud was between Emilson, who is an evangelical pastor, and Evanildo, also an evangelical pastor and brother of the accused. According to reports, the disagreements between the two are not recent. Emilson does not accept that Evanildo’s family passes through his land to get to his house.
On the night of the incident, Evanildo had finished the service, closed the church and was walking home when he was approached by Emilson, who complained about passing through his backyard. During the argument, Emilson allegedly pushed his brother. Rosyane, Evanildo’s wife, ran to help her husband, and the couple’s daughter, Érica, also intervened when she saw the teenager, Emilson’s son, allegedly attacking Rosyane.
Emilson would have deliberately released his dog, which attacked Érica, Rosyane and Evanildo. To contain the animal, Evanildo grabbed the dog by the neck, even though he was bitten on the chest. The two women helped Evanildo, hitting the animal with a slat until it released its victims and fled.
The Military Police were called and sent three vehicles to the scene in order to control the widespread confusion among family members. Emilson and his teenage son were arrested, accused of physical assault and bodily harm, as Evanildo and the two women had injuries.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was also called and sent a basic support ambulance to provide first aid to the victims. Evanildo, Érica and Rosyane were treated and taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Baixada da Sobral. After receiving medical discharge, they were taken to the Flagrantes Police Station (Defla), where they gave a statement to the police officer on duty.
The 17-year-old teenager was taken to the Specialized Women’s Assistance Police Station, along with one of the victims, to be interviewed by the responsible team.
