What will the events be like?

The events organized by Planalto will be divided into stages. The first will be at 9:30 am, with the official handover of works of art targeted by vandalism. Among the 21 pieces is the Balthasar Martinot Boulle watch, damaged during the attacks, which was restored in Switzerland at no cost to the Brazilian government.

The remaining restorations were carried out by a team of 10 professionals from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), with technical support from the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (Iphan), in a laboratory at Palácio da Alvorada.

At 10:30 am, the work “As Mulatas”, by Di Cavalcanti, valued at R$ 8 million, will be unveiled, which was stolen during the criminal attacks.
