During the Dallas Cowboys’ NFL match last Sunday (5), a team cheerleader was hit in the head by a ball that knocked her to the ground and surprised the crowd. However, she soon stood up, smiling and reassuring the spectators.
The accident happened during the game between Cowboys and Coomenders, and led many fans to worry about Michelle Siemienowski. The shot came from a shot by Brandon Aubrey, going off the side and hitting the back of the cheerleader’s head.
A newbie, the cheerleader had the protection of a cameraman who tried, but was unable to block the ball. With the impact, she fell to the ground and cried, but got up smiling for the cameras.
Recovered, Michelle wiped her tears, sat down, and received a glass of water from another cheerleader. After the match, she took to social media to comment on a video of the incident: “I’m fine, guys. Adopting the motto: cry now, laugh later!”
Michelle’s team, however, ended up losing 19 to 23, being eliminated. With that, the Commandars went to the playoffs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
