In recent months, a huge power plant has been built in Burgenland: more than 200,000 solar panels are lined up row after row between the fields in the municipalities of Tadten and Wallern. The movable solar modules follow the path of the sun and have a total output of 164 megawatts. But the real highlight lies elsewhere: Agriculture can still be carried out between the solar modules, and chickpeas and potatoes can also be grown.
