Do you need to get rid of hunger quickly and you don’t want to go to the store or spend time and money in a restaurant? Homemade spread is an easy and quick solution, moreover, made from ingredients that are among the staples in the fridge.
You will need about 200 grams of any salami. The soft, boiled one is better. But if you don’t have this luxury, use another one, simply “what the house gave”. First, cut it into small pieces, as well as 1 small onion. You can use the hand blender chopper to make the job easier, which has the added benefit of saving you tears from slicing onions.

Surprisingly simple preparation
Place in a container and mix in the regular spread butter. Don’t you have it? It doesn’t matter, you can easily replace it with melted cheese, it’s a decent alternative if you don’t have spread butter.
You will certainly also find full-fat mustard and mayonnaise in the fridge, 1 tablespoon of mustard and 2 tablespoons of mayo will be enough. Take 2 large or 3 small sterilized cucumbers and you can either grate them, which is a faster and more convenient option, or finely chop them. Finish this simple but all the more effective recipe with the traditional seasoning of salt and pepper.
And where with that?
There are many options. Grab any bread, be it a roll, classic wheat bread, or rye or gluten-free, in short, whatever you have at home, and spread it with the prepared spread. The advantage is that this easy recipe fulfills its role not only as a spread on bread, but also as a dip for cheese crackers, nachos are also suitable.
Salami spread is also an excellent addition to crostini. And it’s not in vain to serve it as a dip with pieces of vegetables – carrot, celery and cucumber snakehead cut into long slices are excellent.
